Geta Komachi
Geta are traditional Japanese wooden sandals, consisting of a wooden base and fabric thong (hanao).
The wooden sole feels comfortable underfoot and allows for breathability, keeping your feet cool even in hot weather. The gentle karan-koron sound they make with each step is one of the iconic sounds of summer in Japan.
They pair perfectly with yukata for summer festivals and fireworks, yet also complement Western clothing, allowing you to enjoy a stylish blend of Japanese and modern fashion.

How to use
It is said that geta look most elegant when the heel extends about 1–3 cm beyond the back edge.
When putting them on, stop your toes just before the front strap (hanao) and wear them in a slightly “slip-on” style.
Avoid pushing your foot in too deeply, as this can cause pressure and discomfort.
By wearing them correctly, you can enjoy both comfort and the refined look of geta.
