Botanical-Dyed Stole with Chita Cotton
This plant-dyed stole is made from 100% Chita cotton produced in Aichi Prefecture, woven in Japan, and carefully dyed in Kyoto.
Chita cotton is a traditional textile that has been produced since the Edo period, known for its soft texture and the way it becomes smoother and more comfortable with use.
The dyeing process uses natural plants such as pagoda tree (enju), marigold, and Indian madder, resulting in beautifully clear, translucent colors.

How to use
Although lightweight, this stole offers the characteristic softness and warmth of Chita cotton, providing a gentle and comfortable feel against the skin.
Drape it loosely over your neck or shoulders for sun protection or to shield yourself from air conditioning.
In spring and autumn, it works beautifully as a light wrap; in summer, as a sunshade; and in winter, you can change the way you wear it for extra warmth.
With just a simple wrap, it adds a stylish accent to your outfit, blending naturally with both Japanese and Western clothing.
It’s easy to carry when traveling or going out, and can be enjoyed year-round, making it a truly versatile accessory.
